ABOUT ME

I am an actor and theatre-maker based in London.

Originally from Romania, I moved to the UK with my family aged 11. A lot of my artistic work focuses on migration, workers’ rights and the mixing of languages and cultures.

I speak Romanian, English, Spanish and French.

As an undergraduate I studied Languages and Literature at Cambridge University, and performed in many stage productions during my time there. After completing an MPhil in Comparative Literature, I was awarded a year-long studentship at the École Normale Supérieure in Paris. My actor and artist training has taken place in England, France, Colombia and Estonia. I have created & showcased work in France, Estonia, Italy, Spain, the US, London and the UK.

In 2022, I was selected by Projekt Europa as one of 9 mentees in Projekt Empower, a scheme supporting and championing migrant theatre talent in the UK. That same year, I was one of 3 artists to be granted a micro-commission as part of Projekt Elevate to develop a piece of co-created work in partnership with a leading UK venue.

Currently, I am on Projekt Europa’s Artistic Advisory Board and Associate Artist with Odd Eyes Theatre. I am a drag performer with Haus of Intrusive Thots, a collective born out of a Soho Theatre Lab. For the last year and a half, together with iulia isar, I’ve been creating and performing CRY FOR ME, a dystopian cabaret about migrant labour, with support from POMOC, Camden People’s Theatre, Ark (Margate) & Counterpoints Arts.
